What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is made of pure titanium or titanium alloy, and has almost the same size and shape of the root of a tooth.
It is inserted into the bone where a tooth is missing. It is bio-compatible with bone and integrates fully within it, creating an extremely strong bond. This is called osseointegration.
If you are missing one tooth, or many teeth, we can replace your teeth easily.
The whole procedure takes only a few minutes for a single tooth and up to an hour for multiple implants .We use new procedures and system protocols that do not require any incision of the gums.
If the shape of your face is changing due to tooth loss, or you are wearing a removable denture and wish you never did, then implants may be for you. Implants can be an alternative to dentures or can greatly increase the stability of these dentures.
In cases where there is a lack of bone, we use the new and exciting Nobel Guide software, where a CT scan of the jaw is converted to show anatomical details of the bone, for perfect alignments and positioning of the implants with the help of a "guide" specially ordered for individual cases, making the procedure of advanced cases so much safer, easier and faster. Information on Nobel Guide can also be obtained at the www.nobelbiocare.com .
We provide solutions for patients with wide variety of needs. From a failing single front tooth, to full mouth rehabilitation. The success in this field is very high and all who have had implants in this practice never look back to regret their decisions.
