Whenever possible, we recommend all-porcelain crowns and bridges. In the past, crowns were made with porcelain bonded with white gold metal inside. These had problems of having thick margins and discolouration of the gums around the crowns. In certain circumstances, these are still made, usually because of costs restraints and mainly under NHS treatment. |

With our modern porcelain materials and technology like the "Procera" system from Nobel Biocare, and other newer generation porcelain materials, our crowns and bridges are very strong and have the most beautiful aesthetics for the teeth in the smile region and for back teeth. The surrounding gums remain healthy and natural looking.
Look at the gallery section for photos of patients with such crowns.
